The Rocket League Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Car Pack will be released on March 8th, 2016. Developer Psyonix has released a trailer which includes a preview of the new car included – the official Batmobile Battle-Car. Also in the pack will be three exclusive Antenna flags which feature Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.
The pack will be available for $1.99 and should be for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC versions.
As far as we’re aware, this is the first time the Batmobile has become available in a third party car or racing game.
This follows the recent news that a deal has been signed for a retail version of the game, along with a Mac edition. We’ve been playing Rocket League a lot recently, especially since the Xbox One version launched for digital download with the exclusive Hogsticker (based on the Warthog from the Halo series) and the Armadillo (Based on the vehicle of the same name from Gears of War).
In case you haven’t already unlocked them – to get the Hogsticker, you’ll need to win a match with all of the vehicles included in the game, while you’ll receive the Armadillo by completing a whole season of matches in Season Mode.
If you’re in North America, Rocket League is currently 30% off as part of the PlayStation Critic’s Choice Sale, so it’s a good time to pick it up. And player numbers are continuing to increase since the Xbox version was released.
We’ve definitely been having fun with the game – and although we’re not good enough yet, it’s interesting that pro gaming organisation the ESL has Rocket League on their roster. So our dreams of being a professional racing driver, and professional footballer, might still be able to come true at the same time!
