What happens when you invite some of the best sim racing drivers in the world to compete in two end of season showdowns? That’s the question the iRacing 2016 All Star races attempt to answer.
Organised by RaceSpot TV, the All Star races involved the best drivers from the range of iRacing disciplines, including NASCAR, open wheel and sports car racing. They were invited to compete with fixed setups on a late model Chevrolet NASCAR model at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Two races were held, with the first on the road layout over 20 minutes, and the second on the oval course.
So with the top drivers from the World Championship Grand Prix Series, the NASCAR Peak Antifreeze Series, and the Blancpain GT Series on track together, who would become victorious?
Drivers include NASCAR series winner Ray Alfalla, and top drivers PJ Stergios, Chris Overland, Allen Boes and more. Meanwhile from the GP series, there’s Martin Kronke, and Blancpain drivers including Jorn Jens and Klaus Kivekas from VRS Coanda, William Levesque from ineX Racing and more.
