Watch Round 30 of the 2017 RSR Full Throttle Cup at Talladega below and check out the oval action. The series is running for the sixth time, with races airing on Monday evenings in the U.S via LSR TV.
The championship emulates the Sprint Cup and runs Chevy, Toyota and Ford Gen-6 cup cars with iRacing fixed setups, which means plenty of rubbing, racing and action. And even after all those races, it’s still tight at the top of the championship with David Comstock (Turn One Heroes), David Washington (Aegis Motorsports), Nick Silver (Prestige Worldwide), Dylan C Jones (Aegis Motorsports), Dwayne Vincent (HPS Motorsports), Brandon Buie (Lodestar Racing) and more all fighting for the title, and for individual wins.
And the Team Standings are also still close, counting the top 3 drivers for each outfit. Even after running around 10,000 laps between each team, it’s still pretty close between Aegis Motorsports, Turn One Heroes and Powertek.
RSR, or Real Sim Racing, have been running events for a long time. Initially starting in 2000 as Nightstalker Motorsports, they currently run leages in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series vehicles, the NASCAR Xfinity Series vehicles and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series vehicles.
