‘Racing is life, everything else is just waiting’ – Steve McQueen Online Race Driver is dedicated to all forms of virtual motorsport, whether it’s cars or motorcycles, on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC, your mobile phone or anywhere else. We take online racing seriously as a competitive way for millions to experience the thrill of motorsport – as fun, as a substitute for racing in the physical world, or even as a way to learn tracks and help with racing. There’s the latest news on the latest games, reviews, tips on better driving/riding, great videos and more.
And if you’re also into FPS games, then check out our new site, FPS Prestige.
The OnlineRaceDriver team:
DanThornton – an experienced motoring journalist, with 10 years experience. He’s written for top car and motorcycle magazines, had the chance to race a MotoGP world champion (virtually), and been fortunate enough to meet, ride with and get tuition from a host of top racing stars. He also blogs at www.thewayoftheweb.net, and also founded first-person shooter site, FPS Prestige.
GTDon – The token American, Don founded the premier unofficial Forza racing community, the IFCA. He was also an expert content provider for the official FM3 guide for Prima Games. He’s one of the biggest experts on Forza, which is ironic since he’s such a fan of Gran Turismo (Hence the GT!).
TomBowker – Our PC specialist, if he can ever get a fast enough computer and enough time to stage a real-time, full grid Formula One GP series.
Wren: He’s slowly being converted from a World of Warcraft fan to a racing enthusiast. We’ll keep using a big pointy stick on him until he gives in.
Kalps: Kalps is an expert in games which involve shooting people. Not much help when it comes to writing about racing games, but it does come in handy if we need a rival driver assasinated.
