It’s Spring here in the upper Midwest, but don’t let the calendar fool you. In Minnesota, the state I hail from, the earliest Spring car shows are held indoors due to the inclement weather this time of year. Temps are only in the 50’s (teens Celsius) at best usually, and snow at the worst. It is at this time of the year that we occasionally look forward to visiting two annual … [Read more...]

New York F1 Grand Prix in 2012 could benefit games
There’s one major benefit which could come from F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone’s plans to have a Formula One Grand Prix in New York by 2012. We could finally see the end of the frankly rubbish New York circuit in Forza Motorsport 3 The cabs of Times Square image by Joiseyshowaa on Flickr (CC Licence) Ecclestone has said that the race would be in front of Manhattan, in New … [Read more...]
Awaiting Codemasters F1 2010

The advent of on-line multiplayer games (and their social networking structure) has for the first time in human history, and for all practical purposes, blurred the once distinctive age barriers between generations. With the creation of the internet and its associated applications … [Read more...]
Gran Turismo 5 can’t come soon enough…
So another month, another delay. Gran Turismo 5 is now officially late. I am one peed-off Playstation owner. I pre-ordered my copy last summer when I read rumours of a release before christmas. Then it got put back to March. Now it's been put back to September 2010 at the earliest - and I'm not happy. Here’s why: I'm a sim racer. I can't stand arcadey car handling. Ridge … [Read more...]
