Car drifting game Drift21 is focused around the famous Japanese Ebisu circuit. So it’s big news for fans of the title when Drift21 adds the Ebisu North track layout. It’s the fourth option available in the game, which is currently in Steam Early Access.
Released on May7th 2020 for £22.49, Drift21 included Ebisu School, Ebisu Driftland and Ebisu Minami as tracks. So having a fourth layout option is going to be welcomed by drifters who have already mastered the existing circuits.
Ebisu Kita (North) is one of a total of 7 individual tracks at the race and drifting complex created by drift driver Nobushige Kumakubo in the Fukushima Prefecture of Japan.
It’s designated as a medium difficulty course with 1,155 metres of track at the highest elevation in the drift complex. The addition to the game includes new Time Attack and Solo Run challenges designed specifically for the North circuit.
The rleease follows Patch 13440 just a few days earlier. And also includes a few other fixes and changes:

• Fixed button sizes not scaling properly in various places in the game, such as Warehouse, Paint Booth, Settings, Driving Setup, Car Shop)
• Fixed an issue where body kit parts for Subaru BRZ were not correctly registered in Stages window (Car Parameters menu)
• Fixed a bug that forced steering assists even after turning it off
• Fixed Minami challenges where players could pass through certain props and concrete walls
• Fixed an issue that resulted in players getting stuck on certain parts of each track
Localization changes
• Small localization changes, mainly to texts used in challenges
Other changes
• Adjustments to CR. prizes for each Minami challenge
Drift21 is developed by ECC Games S.A, and published by 505 Games. It’s expected to be in Early Access for several months, while it gets new tracks, cars, game modes including multiplayer, and the developers work on fixing bugs and improving existing features.
So far it has mixed reviews on Steam, so it’s worth thinking about what you might expect from an Early Access game, and if you’ll be happy with the current content of 3 cars and 4 tracks or want to wait a little longer before diving in to the world of virtual drifting.
