Appearing on the real championship calendar for the first time in August 2025, a MotoGP 25 video explores the new Balaton Park Circuit in Hungary.
With the game due to launch on April 30th for the PC and consoles, it’s a chance to ride the track before both the World Superbike and MotoGP series arrive. And developers Milestone have enlisted the help of Aprilia rider Marco Bezzecchi and Aprilia eSports star Davide Tarrisi to run some laps.
Italian racer Bezzecchi has moved to Aprilia for the 2025 season after joining the premier class in 2022. He’s achieved three wins and nine podiums in the past, along with victories in Moto2 and Moto3. Turrisi made his name in the 2023 MotoGP eSport Pro Draft, and joining the Global Series that year, finishing 4th overall, switching to the Aprilia Racing eSport Team for 2024.
The Balaton Park Circuit was opened in May 2023, with a 2.557 full length layout modified for motorcycle racing by Loris Capirossi. It’s currently awaiting FIM homologation which should be finalised in June alongside a MotoGP test day for manufacturers, riders and tyre supplier Michelin.
While it’s a fairly flat circuit, the challenges come mainly with two sections featuring tight corners at the start and end of each lap, along with a pair of chicanes.
Both the Termas de Rio Hondo in Argentina and Brno in the Czech Republic are returning to the championship calendar this season, but those tracks were included in MotoGP 24 as historic venues, along with featuring in previous MotoGP titles. The other big change this year is that MotoGP 25 will also let you ride Motards, minibikes and flat trackers as part of your rider training.
MotoGP 25 launches on April 30th 2025 for the PC via Steam and the Epic Game Store, the PS4 and PS5 via the PlayStation Store, the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S via the Microsoft Store, and the Nintendo Switch via the eShop (the Switch version doesn’t include cross-play, LiveGP or UGC content).
