Save €120 On A New Thrustmaster T248 Wheel And Pedals

February 27, 2023 By Dan Thornton Leave a Comment

If you’ve been thinking about jumping into sim racing, now might be a good opportunity as you can save €120 on a new Thrustmaster T248 wheel and pedals until March 2nd, 2023.

The offer is available on both the PC and PlayStation or PX and Xbox versions, and brings the normal €349.99 (£299.99) price down to just €229.99 (£198.00). That means it’s only 30 Euros more than the cheapest T128 setup in the Thrustmaster range, and the same price as the outgoing T150 and TMX two pedal sets.

Prices dont include taxes and shipping costs, and are only available if you buy directly from the Thrustmaster website. The sim racing manufacturer is also offering £30 off the Ferrari F1 Wheel until March 2nd, inclusive, and while supplies last.

The T248 launched at the end of 2021, featuring the firm’s hybrid combination of gears and belts to offer a smoother and quieter solution for sim racers on a budget. But the new wheel produced 70% more force than the previous T150 and TMX, and added both a built-in digital display and magnetic paddle shifters.

You also get the T3PM pedals, which also use the same magnetic H.E.A.R.T technology for more accuracy and reliability over time. And having previously purchased my own TMX Pro wheel and pedals directly from a Thrustmaster sale, shipping and delivery is all as you might expect.

While direct drive wheels might be getting cheaper all the time, there’s still a good reason for investing in a more cost-effective solution if money is tight, you’re not sure about committing to sim racing longterm, or you need something which is quick and easy to set up on a desk or table. And while more expensive set-ups can help with consistency and immersion, there’s no reason why you can’t achieve great results with an entry-level wheel.
