After a postponed launch and a switch to an Early Access release with some features arriving at a later date, fixes are arriving at a fast pace with Le Mans Ultimate now up to Hotfix 5.
Launched on February 20th, the first Hotfix arrived within 24 hours. And it appears Motorsport Games and Studio 397 have opted for a little and often approach to support with four more hotfixes arriving in the first couple of weeks. There’s still quite a long list of known issues and absent features, but the early signs are that progress is moving relatively quickly to get the new sim racing title into a suitable state with a substantial Patch being teased in the near future.
Le Mans Ultimate Hotfix 2 Release Notes
- Fixed an issue for users that remain in the Online Practice server until it closes with crash or unusual menu behaviour when starting next session
- Disabled ineffective kerb (curb) Vibration Strength FFB effect which caused issues for some users after hotfix-1

- Disabled redundant development tool that may have been introducing stability issues for some users

General
- Fixed a bug where selecting Restart Race would result in the player receiving a DNF in Race Weekend
Online
- Fixing the Event Results DR & SR bug where gain and losses would be doubled on the event causing the Event and Profile to be out of sync
- Slowed down the number of requests to Steam for Avatars so the limit is not hit – this may mean a slower but more consistent update
Le Mans Ultimate Hotfix 5 Release Notes
- Fixed the “teleport” bug for online users that had pressed “esc” on their previous race, resulting in the user being magically transported to their pit-box after the leader crossed the line in the following race and causing a DNF
