First announced in 2020 from Three Fields Entertainment who previously worked on the Burnout series at Criterion, open world arcade racer Wreckreation is set for release on October 28, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
It will let you explore around 400 square kilometres (roughly 150 square miles) of driving with opportunities for jumps, stunts, racing and epic crashes. As a follow-up to their 2019 game Dangerous Driving, Wreckreation aims to stand out with the ability to change, customise and construct everything via the new LiveMix feature.

Either alone or collaborating with friends you can personalise your world at any time, adding new roads, jumps, buildings, and more. Along with creating game modes, picking the weather, time of day, adding or removing traffic, and customising more than 50 cars available. The Xbox listing mentions online multiplayer will be for 2-8 players which is probably enough to create a decent amount of carnage in your personal MixWorld sandbox environment.
Along with creating and sharing your world, and custom game modes, Wreckreationg also constantly keeps track of seven different types of records for Drift, Drift Chain, Air, Near Miss, Oncoming, Stung and Fastest Time, with the ability to lock different types to specific roads for your friends to challenge them. It’s also got 16 music stations to choose from, whether you prefer to drive with rock, disco, or smooth jazz.
Published by THQ Nordic, Wreckreation will launch on October 28th, 2025 priced at $39.99 or €39.99, with digital and physical editions available. You can find it on Steam for the PC, the PlayStation store for the PS5, and the Microsoft store for the Xbox Series X|S. Keep up with all the latest Wreckreation news, updates, DLC and more, here.
