Genki have made some tweaks since their streeting racing game was released in January 2025, but the first new feature addition has now arrived, as Tokyo Xtreme Racer Update 0.11.0 adds a photo mode.
You can now take snaps in the garage and in-game to capture your favourite cars and moments with fairly typical options to tweak everything before settling on a final image. And to add to the drama, sparks will now be visible if you’re scraping walls or other vehicles. You’re also able to add stickers to your car, including cutting out parts of a design used by specific rivals once you’ve beaten them.
Tokyo Xtreme Racer is currently in Steam Early Access for the PC, with no update yet on a finally release date or whether console versions are confirmed for the future.
