Le Mans Ultimate Update 5 And DLC Pack 5 Both Arrive

June 10, 2025 By Dan Thornton Leave a Comment

Two new cars, the Lusail Circuit, team events, driver swaps and custom liveries all make the headlines as Le Mans Ultimate Update 5 and DLC Pack 5 both arrive.

The new paid content is the final part of the 2024 Season Pass for the racing sim, which is still in Steam Early Access. It costs £9.99, with the Season Pass containing all five DLC releases for £39.99, although it’s currently on sale until June 16th, alongside the previous four individual installments, timed to coincide with the real 24 Hour of Le Mans over the weekend of June 14th and 15th.

Le Mans Ultimate 2024 DLC Pack 5

The last of the 2024 WEC season paid content adds the Lusail International Circuit in Qatar, which has hosted the 10 hour Qatar 1812 KM endurance race as part of the endurance calendar since 2024.

Alongside the track, Pack 5 also adds two LMGT3 cars, with the Lexus RC F LMGT3, which debuted in 2024 with Akkodis ASP running the 5.4 litre naturally asperated 5.4 litre V8 car.

Also being added in the Lamborghini Huracan LMGT3 Evo2, which also appeared in the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2024 with a 5.2 litre V10, following on from the earlier GT3 and GT3 Evo models. While it’s not racing in 2025 due to the replacement Lamborghini Temerario planned to arrive in 2026, it was competitive in the hands of the Iron Lynx and Iron Dames teams.

Le Mans Ultimate Update 5

While there are a large number of fixes included in this release, the big news is that you can finally get the full endurance experience with live driver swaps allowing you to share your car and hand it over mid-race. At the moment it’s only available in special curated events until the new feature is ready to be rolled out across the sim.

Along with driver swaps, there’s also the new team management system powered by RaceControl which allows you to assign members as a Driver, Engineer, Manager and Team Owner to register for events together, with new DR and DR values attached to team line-ups.

Teams and drivers can also now run a custom livery in the game, with anyone able to use them, but only RaceControl Pro and Pro+ players able to use the livery upload tool.
