If you’re a sim racer planning on attending the annual motorsport event in 2025 there’s an added bonus as you’ll be able to try Project Motor Racing at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year.
Ahead of a launch on PC and consoles, the new racing game will make debut for the UK public at the Festival of Speed, which attracts a capacity attendance of 150,000 each year. The main attraction is seeing the massive variety of cars and drivers taking on the hillclimb course, but other events include the full forest rally stage, the Cartier Style et Luxe Lawn concours, extreme sports, air displays and more. This year the event is celebrating 75 years of F1.
Most of the tickets are already sold out, but there are some still available for the Thursday of the event.

Alongside car manufacturers using the event to unveil new or limited edition models, developers Straight4 Studios will give Project Motor Racing a UK public debut with the chance for people to try it out for themselves. There’s no details yet on what kind of set-ups will be available or if you’ll need to book a spot in advance, but apparently more information will come via the Project Motor Racing social media accounts in the near future.
The sim is due for release later in 2025 for PC and consoles, with more than 70 cars across 10 classes and 27 track layouts at launch. Due to the fact it’s being published by GIANTS Software and uses the same game engine as their Farming Simulator series, it will also be playable at FarmCon 25 on July 5th and 6th in Kundle, Austria.
If you can’t make either event, the recently announced Factory Driver Program should be available soon for sim racers to get involved and test Project Motor Racing. There’s still no exact release date confirmed, but you can pre-order it now and get the GTE Decade DLC Pack as a bonus reward.
Project Motor Racing is available to pre-order for the PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store or the official website, to wishlist for the PlayStation 5 via the PlayStation Store or the Xbox One via the Microsoft Store, or via Game and Amazon.
