Due out towards the end of 2025 with the novel approach of letting you swap instantly between a driver or race engineer, hybrid racing and strategy game Endurance Motorsport Series reveals Fuji and BMW cars in a new teaser trailer.
Creating a new and unique approach to virtual motorsport, most of the information so far has covered how developers KT Racing have handled the mechanics of both driving and directing your team from the pitwall. For example, you’ll only have a realistic amount of information available in-car, relying on your team to provide updates on your position, the weather etc. And work co-operatingly in teams of up to three players, with any vacant spaces handled by AI.
The car list is obviously based on endurance racing with hypercars, LMP2s and GTs from the manufacturers you would expect to see. And the trailer confirms the BMW M Hybrid V8 and the BMW M4 GT3.
It also reveals another of the 10 tracks planned for launch. Spa has already been shown, with Monza and Le Mans mentioned, but now the 2.8 mile Fuji Speedway has been confirmed, with the circuit hosting the FIA WEC 6 Hours of Fuji each year since 2012 (with a break in 2020 and 2021).
Obviously the BMW M Hybrid V8 LMDh and M4 GT3 are pretty common cars in sim racing, with the hypercar already appearing in iRacing, Le Mans Ultimate, Forza Motorsport and RaceRoom. And a similarly wide available for the GT3 car. And Fuji Speedway is an iconic circuit available in a similarly wide array of racing sims and games, including Assetto Corsa EVO, iRacing, LMU, Rennsport and Gran Turismo Sport etc. But it’s still nice to see content confirmed for Endurance Motorsport Series ahead of the launch, and the race strategy should be interesting at a track nestled at the foot of Mount Fuji
Endurance Motorsport Series is planned to launch on the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox One in late 2025. You can add it to your Steam wishlist already, and keep up with more news, launch information and post-release DLC, here.
