The release date has been confirmed for the new oval racing game published by iRacing Studios, as NASCAR 25 launches on October 14th, 2025 for consoles. It will be available for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a PC version arriving on Steam shortly after.
Developed by Monster Games, who previously developed the NASCAR Heat series and were acquired by iRacing in 2022, it’s the first officially-licensed game for PC and consoles since 2021, following the sale of the rights by Motorsport Games to iRacing in 2023.
The first standalone NASCAR game from iRacing has been built using Unreal Engine, and features the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series, with around 190 licensed drivers and more than 400 paint schemes.

In career mode you’ll work your way up from your backyard garage by managing contracts, facilities, staff and more, with various decisions making a difference. The other modes available will be quick races, seasons and online multiplayer.
It’s not the first standalone licensed racing game series from iRacing Studios, as two editions of World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing have been made for consoles and PC in the past. But it’s a notable project given the stature of the NASCAR series, and the fact that it’s such a prominent part of the iRacing sim racing platform. That includes the College Series, Coca-Cola iRacing Series and the Road to Pro Series, which are all officially sanctioned by eNASCAR.
And considering four years is the longest break in NASCAR PC and console games since the early 1990s, there are a lot of non-iRacing subscribers who will have high hopes for the new release. Given the recent change to branding everything under iRacing Studios, you’d imagine there are plans already made that rely on NASCAR 25 being successful.
