The list of Hot Wheels videogames will get longer in 2025, as Hot Wheels Let’s Race: Ultimate Speed launches in October for the Switch, PS5, XBox Series X|S and PC.
It’s being developed by Bamtang Games, who are the third developers to tackle the diecast toy range in three years. Previously the two Unleashed titles were developed and published by Milestone in 2021 and 2023, and Hot Wheels Monster Trucks: Stunt Mayhem was developed by 3D Clouds and published by GameMill in 2024.

While the new game is also published by GameMill, it’s actually based on the Hot Wheels Let’s Race animated children’s series released on Netflix in 2024 rather than the original toy line. So it features the characters and cars from the series, which focuses on young hopefuls learning to become racers (Coop, Spark, Mac, Brights, Axle and Cruise), along with vehicles featured, including the GT-Scorcher, Super Twin Mill, Roger Dodger and Duck N’Roll.

Five modes including the Racing Camp, Cup Champ, Speed Trials, Free Races and a Track Builder, to create your own courses alongside the 12 circuits based on the series and boss showdowns. And you can unlock new cars and customisation by earning flame badges.
The standard version will be priced at £34.99, with a Digital Deluxe Edition at £39.99 which includes the High Voltage Speed DLC. The DLC adds new cars, track parts and decals, and will also be available separately at launch for £12.99.
Hot Wheels Let’s Race: Ultimate Speed is currently scheduled to launch on October 24th, 2025.
