If you want to build a collection of toy cars but don’t have the money and space to won 50,000 die casts, then Supercar Collection Simulator V1.0 arrives soon as the game gets a full official release on Steam.
Having arrived in Early Access in April, 2025 for £10.99, the full version launches on September 8th with new features including a more polished shop management experience, a new Supercar series, Black Market events, betting tables and more.

You’re able to set up your store to earn money, but by setting up racing platforms, customers can compete, and you can take part yourself with skill cards to give your vehicles unique abilities. And you can enter the Hunt House to rifle through packs trying to find the ones needed for your collection. Along with customising models with paid, stickers and custom cards which you can then sell.
As you expand, you can also hire staff, manage stock through a warehouse system, pore over sales and price numbers, and check customer reviews.
While it might not be sim racing, I can understand the appeal. So far I’ve resisted the temptation beyond watching occasional Youtube videos of Hot Wheels collectors, but I do have a few models of cars and bikes around my office and sim rig. And seeing the price of vintage die cast toys, I’m planning to dig my old collection out of the loft at some point and have a good look through everything.
So if you dream of running your own die cast store, then Supercar Collection Simulator is definitely a cheaper option than investing in a new hobby. And doesn’t involve driving around your local shops trying to track down potential resale cars or rare models. If you’re tempted to try it out, you can find it on Steam.
