We haven’t covered the racing games from the E3 show in America in detail yet – mainly because so many other sites were there in person, while some of us have to work for a living.
But now that you’ve read the news from the show, seen the videos, and chatted with your friends, which of the two main racing games has got you more interested? The prospect of controller-free racing in Forza Motorsport 4 with Microsoft’s new Kinect, or the end of an eternity of waiting when Gran Turismo 5 arrives in November.

And if you’ve missed it:
Gran Turismo 5 trailer:
Gran Turismo 5 arrives in November with over 1000 cars, split by graphical quality into standard (GT4 quality), and premium (GT5 quality). It apparently cost $60 million to get to to release over the last five+ years, and even features the Top Gear test track and The Stig.
Forza Motorsport 4?
Turn 10 weren’t revealing whether the Microsoft Kinect demo was the basis of add-on content, a Forza Motorsport sequel or even an offshoot of the main game, although they did apparently reveal that going without a joypad will be optional.
But whatever it is, it’ll arrive in 2011, with 60fps and game engine upgrades, and the ability to have more cars on track.
So which are you going to invest in? Or are you lucky enough to be able to grab both?

I am getting GT5 without a doubt,Forza Kinect will require a lot more information. I am not sold on using Kinect for racing. The head tracking will be a nice addition but I am a firm believer that a racing sim needs some sort of feedback tool in order for it to truly be a sim. I dont play with regular controller’s so I most assuredly will not play a racing sim with nothing in my hands and no force feedback.
