KarBoom is the creation of aspiring Australian games developer and Computer Science student Jibb Smart, and the latest update for the car-combat PC game is now available.
KarBoom 0.2.4 makes offline time limit, score limit and life limit game modes available for online play, and whilst it costs nothing to play offline, there are still some free upgrades for free online gaming availably, until the game’s online forums reach the 500 account mark. You’re able to feed back directly via the KarBoom forum, and the problem of port-forwarding for players to host games has now been fixed with UPnP to automatically set things up. The other big request is a level editor, which Jibb is ‘itching’ to release.
You can download KarBoom for Windows XP and higher, and the KarBoom forums are here for your feedback.
