The new Legends Pack for Shift 2 Unleashed is now available for 800 MS points on the Xbox Live Marketplace, and will be coming to PS3 once Sony have resolved the current problems with the Playstation Network. It features 13 classic cars and five evocative and challenging classic race tracks. It’s nice to see some different choices included, perhaps reflecting a more European focus, with the Lotus Cortina a particularly appealing choice, along with the classic Mini Cooper S, and the original Ford Escort. Not so sure about the Capri though….

And possibly even more awesome is the addition of 5 new tracks from the correct classic racing eras:

It’s a pretty good pack and at a reasonable price. Personally we’re looking to replicate the UK racing series which saw the Mini Cooper S on the same track as American muscle cars like the Shelby Mustang – you need a certain kind of bravery to put yourself up the inside or blocking the racing line when you’re in the diminutive Mini with those monsters right behind you!
