Inspired by the Destruction Derby series which achieved most fame and success on the PlayStation, Lunagames has created the free mobile game Demolition Derby – Crash Racing. And after achieving more than 500,000 downloads in the first week that the game was available on the App Store, Google Play and Windows Phone Store, there’s now a PC version in development.
It’s an arcade racer which claims to have nailed a decent handling model. But also has an advanced crash damage model with wheels coming off, engines exploding and bodywork being destroyed.
There are a variety of events, including “last car driving’ and demolition races taking place in arenas and on oval and figure-of-8 tracks. You can choose between 3 American muscle cars to start driving, and improve it by earning or buying upgrades. And it’s a free download for mobile devices.
