While racing and driving simulators, motorsport management games and more have been released over the years, Pitstop Challenge may be the first game to celebrate the dedicated and sometimes heroic men and women who changes tyres, check bodywork and perform plenty of other tasks to keep our favourite drivers on track.
The game is available for PC, and your goal is to become the best pitstop crew on a motorsport circuit which features the highest level of open wheel racing (presumably avoiding the name due to licensing!). You have 24 mechanics at your disposal to train, select and manage at 19 of the world’s fastest races, and with each one having 10 cars which need a pit crew.
This Pitstop Challenge trailer shows what that actually means for a game.
So if you’ve ever dreamed of running a team of mechanics and the excitement of changing tyres, this might be your game. It’s single player only, developed by Laudo Games and published by Kiss Ltd. It costs $9.99 / £7.99 / 8,99€.
