Every serious sim racer has to start somewhere. And for children born since 2006, it’s often been their first exposure to the Cars film and game. There’s a new sequel on the way with Cars 3. So here’s the Cars 3: Driven To Win Game First Look Trailer.
So as usual, you can play a range of characters from the film. Including Lightning McQueen, Jackson Storm, Cruz Ramirez and a hot of new characters. And obviously Mater, the beaten-up pick-up truck voiced by Larry the Cable Guy makes an inevitable appearance.
The six game modes include training and competing to become a Hall of Fame Driver. And you can challenge family and friends in a Battle Race mode. Locations from the films are used, including Radiator Springs. And obviously there’s also a range of toys and other merchandise which will probably cover birthdays and Christmas this year.
Cars 3: Driven to Win is available to pre-order shortly, and will be available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, the Nintendo Switch, and the Nintendo Wii U.
Previous games in the series include Cars: Race-O-Rama, Cars: Mater-National, and Cars 2.
