There’s a new Assetto Corsa Competizione hotfix for gearboxes to join the large V1.0.8 update released at the start of the week.
Kunos Simulazioni went through a massive list of improvements and fixes, including the obscure and the impactful. But it seems they weren’t finished in updating the official Blancpain GT title.

This latest build is V1.0.10, and it’s a pretty tiny update in terms of changes.
- Fixed default gearshift debouncing calculation being too low
- Added gearshift debouncing slider to controls configuration screen
- Fixed TrackIR flickering.
So if you’ve had a problem with gearbox debouncing, then worry no more. And ditto if you’re using TrackIR and experienced flickering in the past.
In case you’re wondering what gearbox debouncing is – it’s a setting to try and prevent double shifting when you use a wheel and paddle set up (for example). By setting the debouncing time for 100ms, it’ll stop the game from recognising two clicks within 100ms, and stop you from double shifting.
As with almost every PC title, the update should occur automatically the next time you fire up the Steam client. And will come with the game if you choose to buy it now for £34.99 on Steam.
