Update for FIA European Truck Racing Championship

November 14, 2019 By Dan Thornton Leave a Comment

Launched in July 2019, a second update for FIA European Truck Racing Championship is now available from developers N-Racing. Patch 1.2 is across all formats (PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Switch) and covers various updates and improvements.

Most of the changes are fairly minor, but fixing the splitscreen option is good for those of us who enjoy some local multiplayer racing. The AI will now be better at accelerating through the gearbox, which will make things a bit tougher. But not as much as a reduction in the amount of water in the tank to keep your brakes cool, which means you’ll need to manage the available fluid more efficiently to win.

There’s a new update for FIA European Truck Racing Championship

It’s the first update since Patch 1.1 in July, so hopefully we’ll see more improvements on the way, as it’s good to have a game offering a different racing experience.

FIA European Truck Racing Championship Patch 1.2 Notes:

General:

  • Updated font
  • Updated localisation
  • Updated gearbox setup
  • The amount of water in the tank was reduced, it make the game more difficult and the water management more demanding
  • Fixed seasonal reputation
  • Fixed splitscreen
  • Rebalanced AI: The efficiency with which the AI is using the gearbox is increased. It has now a better acceleration.

Patch for SIEJ version and Switch (all territories):

  • Updated gearbox setup
  • Fixed splitscreen
  • Rebalanced AI: The efficiency with which the AI is using the gearbox is increased. It has now a better acceleration

FIA European Truck Racing Championship is available on Steam for £34.99, with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway DLC costing £3.99.

Game is currently running a Special Offer on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch Editions, at £29.99 each for a new copy.

And Amazon currently has the same price to match. Prime Video subscribers can also watch the 2018 and 2019 British Truck Racing Season for free to get in the mood to compete for the FIA European championship.
