You can get TT Isle of Man free with Xbox Games with Gold in February, 2020. It will be available from the first of the month until the 29th, so it’s good news for anyone who hasn’t tried TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge, or couldn’t quite justify buying it at full price.
Publishers BigBen obviously hope it will help build excitement for the sequel, TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2, which will be released in March 2020 for the PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Switch with rebuilt motorcycle physics and steering. So it will be interesting to see how many people download the first TT Isle of Man title when it’s available for nothing. And how that might convert to sales of the new version.
Either way, TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge was the first officially licensed game of the famous road races for a long time, replicating the 37.73 mile course and 264 turns with an impressive sense of speed.
A total of 23 official riders were included in the game, focusing on the Supersport and Superbike classes. So if you’ve ever wanted to be John McGuinness, Peter Hickman or Michael Dunlop, then it’s a good chance to experience what those road racing legends go through during a lap.
The single player career mode is joined by online multiplayer for up to 7 other riders, and the separate Sidecar Thrill DLC also allowed you to team-up with another play locally or online to share the duties of wrestling a sidecar outfit around the TT course.
To get TT Isle of Man free with Xbox Games with Gold, you’ll need a Games with Gold or Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
For everyone else, you can find TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2 to add to your Steam wishlist for PC, to pre-order from Game for the PS4 or Xbox One, or available from Amazon, including the Nintendo Switch version.
