Forza Horizon 4 Series 23 Adds New Achievements

It’s taken a little longer to arrive than normal, after developers Playground Games discovered an issue. But the release of Forza Horizon 4 Series 23 adds new achievements and four Toyotas to the game.

And the new cars are classic examples from the Japanese manufactuter. First up is the 1973 Toyota Corolla SR5, which was only made for two years, and had am unusual design for the period. You’ll unlock is by completing The Corolla Express seasonal championship.

The following year saw the 1974 Toyota Celica GT which you can unlock by completing 50% of the Spring playlist. The descendent of the Toyota 2000GT put out 90hp from a 2 litre engine, and only weighed around 2,200 lbs.

Complete 50% of the Winter playlist and you’ll unlock the 1989 Toyota MR2 SC. The classic 1980s style of the Mister Two housed a twin-cam, 16-valve 1.6 litre engine that gained a supercharger in 1989 to put out 145hp.

And finally comes the 1995 Toyota MR2 GT, which was the result of a full redesign in 1991, and featured a 2 litre 200hp five-speed mid-mounted engine. And you can unlock it by competing the Track Toyotas seasonal championship.

Along with the new cars, Forza Horizon 4 Series 23 adds new achievements. There are 7 challenges you can now complete to get an extra 200 gamerscore. And they’re integrated into the Microsoft Rewards program for U.S gamers. By activating the Xbox One Rewards app, you can activate a Forza punch card, and score points by playing Forza Horzion 4, Forza Motorsport 7 and Forza Street – unlocking up to 3 achievements lets you donate reward points to your choice of several charities, matched by Microsoft “all month long”. So presumably until the end of June.

The release comes alongside the season change for Winter within the game, along with some new weekly events and offers in the Forzathon shop. For sale are the 2010 Rossion Q1 and the 1933 Napier-Railton.

Players are also being gifted a custom-painted rainbow Pagani Huayra in both Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Motorsport 7 to celebrate Pride Month.
