iRacing 2021 Season 1 Patch 2 Hotfix 1 Released

Just in time for Christmas, iRacing 2021 Season 1 Patch 2 Hotfix 1 has been released. It’s a relatively small update to futher tweak and fix some elements following the last big update.

Along with some new base set-ups, probably the biggest fix is for the Brands Hatch Rallycross circuit, where cars were able to crash into each other on the pit road. And some potholes have been sorted at the exit of the pits on Weedsport Speedway.

As always, you’ll need to download and install the required elements of the hotfix, before you’ll be able to race.

iRacing 2021 Season 1 Patch 2 Hotfix 1 Release Notes:

iRACING UI: (5.03.04)

• Fixed an issue where some window backgrounds were not getting redrawn when they were expanding to fill a window.

Hosted Racing

• Fixed an issue where League Admins were able to edit pending Hosted League Sessions instead of only the Session Host.

SIMULATION:

New Damage Model

• Fixed a crashing issue where the processing for collisions could get overloaded by the number of triangles involved.

CARS:

Dallara IR18

• Fixed an issue where the animated pit crew were reversing the left and right front tires.

Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO

• – Rear ID light has been removed.
• – Steering wheel logo has been updated.

NASCAR Cup Series Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

• iRacing setup for Dover International Speedway has been updated.

NASCAR Cup Series Ford Mustang

• iRacing setup for Dover International Speedway has been updated.

NASCAR Cup Series Toyota Camry

• iRacing setup for Dover International Speedway has been updated.

Radical SR8

• iRacing setups have been updated.

TRACKS:

Brands Hatch Circuit

• (Rallycross) – Fixed an issue where cars were collidable on pit road.

• Some ads have been updated.

Weedsport Speedway

• Fixed some potholes at pit road exit.
