One area of discussion is always how individual abilities are transformed into numbers by Codemasters for their F1 games. And real and sim drivers will once again be debating the subject with the F1 2021 driver ratings updated for October, with two races since the last tweaks and changes.
Some of the notable tweaks have included Kimi Raikkonen having his Racecraft and Overall Rating increased by 1 point each, and Daniel Ricciardo gaining in Racecraft and Experience but losing slightly on pace. And there have been drops in Awareness and Overall Rating for Pierre Gasly, while Fernando Alonson loses Awareness and Racecraft, affecting his Overall Rating as well.
Lewis Hamilton remains the highest rated driver in the game, but Max Verstappen has seen some fluctation as his Experience has risen one point, but both Pace and Overall Rating dropped by the same amount.
The full ratings table is:
|Carlos Sainz Jr||71||91||95||86||88|
If you’re in the middle of a saved game, then you’ll be given the option to apply the updated ratings or ignore them for the time being.
