RIDE 5 Racing Icons Pack Adds Five Bikes And Estoril

Arriving just before Christmas, the new RIDE 5 Racing Icons Pack adds five bikes and Estoril to the motorcycling game.

The paid DLC will cost you £7.99, and includes the following motorbikes:

• 2014 Bimota BB3
• 2015 BMW S 1000 RR
• 2015 BMW S 1000 RR – Racing Modified
• 2004 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R
• 2005 Suzuki GSX-R1000 K5

It’s not a particularly unusual selection, although the Bimota BB3 isn’t the most common bike to ride or own. The K5 was the top sportsbike when it was released, and still has plenty of fans almost 20 years later, the 2015 BMW saw major updates, with 4kg less weight and power up to 198hp, and the Kawasaki ZX-6R B1H model was carried over from 2003 with the 636cc engine (while the race model ZX-6RR carried on with a 599cc engine – in later years you would see both versions competing alongside each other in race series such as British Supersport).

The Circuito do Estoril isn’t the most famous motorcycle circuit, but has hosted the Portuguese Grand Prix over multiple years from 2000, along with rounds of World Superbikes and the FIM Endurance World Championship. And it’s more frequently used for rounds of the CEV European Moto2 and Moto3 series for up and coming young motorcycle racers.

Ride 5 is available for the PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, the Xbox Series X|S via the Microsoft Store and the PS5 via the Playstation Store. A Special Edition is also available which includes a first Season Pass.
