The Dirt Micro Sprint cars have obviously been popular after being introduced with the 2024 Season 2 Build, as now iRacing has added new free Dirt Outlaw Micro Sprint cars in both winged and non-winged versions.
The Dirt Micro Sprints now feature a lower 120 horsepower output to make them more manageable to drive in two Rookie level series, with one for the Winged version and one for the Non-Winged alternative, running on the hour, and half past the hour.
Meanwhile the new Dirt Outlaw Micro Sprint cars can compete in a C License series named the Millbridge Micro Showdown, which will rotate winged and non-winged cars each week, and runs at quarter-to the hour, meaning three different Micro races available within each hour.
With all four micro sprint cars included in an iRacing subscription, it provides a nice bit of progression for those levelling up their dirt licenses without requiring new cars to be purchased. And that can only be a good thing, along with having more cars and variants available from the moment you sign up to the sim racing platform.
The only investment you will need to make is in the Millbridge Speedway circuit, with the North Carolina venue located near Charlotte Motor Speedway also added for Season 2 in 2024.
