Get ready to lead a team and drivers into a new season of Formula One succeess, as F1 Manager 2024 will be released digitally on July 23, 2024. Available for the PX, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and costing £29.99, it’s also available to pre-order and receive a Create A Team livery replicating the F1 2024 Show Car. There are no plans for physical editions of the game.
Along with the standard version of the game, there’s also F1 Manager 2024: Deluxe Edition, with a 10% pre-order discount and extras including five additional livery patterns and a handful of extra Race Replay scenarios, which is the single-race challenge mode.
The big change for this year is the new Create A Team mode, which means you could create your own organisation or revive a classic outfit from previous years. Could you bring back Lotus, Brabham or Tyrell, and lead them to success in the modern era? Or maybe change the history of names like Coloni, EuroBrun, or even Andrea Moda.
And to help build your squad for the future, there’s a new Affiliates system which means you can sign younger drives in F2 and F3, while giving them training and development to eventually jump into your F1 team, which could help you secure the talent you need to jump up the grid.
There’s also a new Mentality System which will mean you need to understand the personalities and ambitions of all your team members, and the potential for rival teams to poach your most talented staff and drivers if you upset them.
Other challenges include mid-race mechanical failures, and the visuals have had an upgrade for the latest in the series.
