Released in May 2025, the JDM: Japanese Drift Master console release dates have been updated, with the Xbox Series S|X launch set for November 21st, 2025, with the PlayStation 5 version due out in Q1 2026. You can find the Xbox listing here.
The Xbox version won’t officially support steering wheels, but will get further controller optimisation, as well as all of the free post-launch content and fixes applied to the PC version so far, at a price of $34.99 or €34.99. Pre-orders will open from November 14th, and you’ll get the new Akina Phantom as a bonus gift, with the fictional car inspired by the Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 made famous by Initial D.

Along with the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game, there’s also new content coming for PC owners with the upcoming JDM: Made in USA DLC pack due for release on November 6th, with six unlicensed cars inspired by American cult classics costing €5.99 or $5.99 with the chance to unlock additional visual parts through playing the game. And it will also be available for the Xbox version at launch.
The new cars are the Ironvale Thunderbolt T40, Ironvale Stallion ’69, Taipan, Delray Vanquisher TR, Delray Venom and the Falcon HellFeather, along with 30 unique tuning parts. Given that the accompanying images look much like a 60’s Ford Mustang and a modern Dodge Charger, they’ll be the first non-Japanese cars available in the game, licensed or fictional.
