If the ongoing development of Assetto Corsa EVO wasn’t enough, a spin-off from 505 Games and Supernova Games Studios has been revealed, with Assetto Corsa Rally announced for Early Access in November, 2025.
Developed by Supernova in technical partnership with Kunos Simulazioni, the Italian developers had access to the Assetto Corsa physics engine, which could then be tweaked for the unique aspects of rallying with supervision from Kunos. That means driving on all types of surfaces, jumps and dips, and variable road conditions thanks to dynamic changing weather conditions.

For apparently the first time in a rally sim, each stage of the events was laser scanned, so real terrain, road surfaces and the surrounding environment could be reproduced in Unreal Engine 5.

And the cars and audio have received the same kind of attention, with an advanced damage system for visual and physical results that directly change the behaviour of your car, along with authentic sound recordings for acceleration, braking and drifting captured from both inside and outside the cockpit, and the all-important pacenotes, using the input and voices of professional co-drivers.
Assetto Corsa Rally Early Access
The Assetto Corsa Rally Early Access period starts on November 13th, 2025, priced at £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99. At launch it will include:
- 33km of fully laserscanned real life roads.
- 4 Special Stages with 18 variants, set across gravel roads in Wales and tarmac roads in Alsace.
- 10 iconic rally cars, including Group B, WRC and Rally2 vehicles.
- 5 game modes, triple screen support, and more.
Initially if will feature offline game modes, but online multiplayer is expected to be added gradually.

Expectations are that Early Access will be completed within 18 months, with a full 1.0 release, and the price may increase over time up to the complete version launching.
What will be in the full version of Assetto Corsa Rally?
The plan for the full complete v1.0 release of Assetto Corsa Rally include more than 120km of laser scanned rally stages, along with 10 Special stages with over 35 variations set across five international rallies.
Over 30 cars will be included, from both current and earlier eras, and there will be a selection of modes including a rally school and career, along with complete VR support.

“Feeling the lack of a modern rally simulator, we’ve built a team and developed a technology to create one ourselves, with the support of drivers, engineers, collectors, mechanics, and industry experts.” commented Mauro Notarberardino, Supernova Studio Director.
“A special thanks goes to KUNOS Simulazioni, whose partnership was crucial in maintaining the signature feel of the series – especially in terms of the driving model – in this new chapter. Today marks an exciting new beginning for Supernova and Assetto Corsa Rally, and we can’t wait to share the journey with you.”
“A rally version of Assetto Corsa, when? It has been one of the most frequent questions I’ve received over these years” says Marco Massarutto, Co-Founder of KUNOS Simulazioni and the Assetto Corsa franchise and Executive Manager for KUNOS Simulazioni “and I can finally provide an answer.
