Originally revealed as an upcoming map expansion at the end of 2024, there’s now an American Truck Simulator Louisiana DLC gameplay video to enjoy while you wait for a release date and price.
Throughout this year, SCS Software have been revealed more details about their recreation of the Pelican State in the south of the U.S, with cities including New Orleans, Baton Route, Shreveport and Lafayette. Along with rest stops and weigh stations, there are also two welcome centers on Interstate 10 as you drive into or from Texas.
The video follows a route from north of Port Fourchon to south of Lake Charles near the Texas border. But there will be lots more to see including custom depots for delivering to three farms and two timber harvest locations, street art and statues, riverboat-style resorts and casinos in Shreveport, and smaller towns including Ferriday, Ruston, New Iberia, Bastrop and Abbeville.
The most recent map expansions released for American Truck Simulator are Iowa in July 2025, and Missouri in April 2025.

While you wait, there’s currently a Halloween-themed Witches of Brackenreach Event running until November 16th, 2025 across both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2. And a very welcome UK rework has been announced for ETS 2, which has been requested a lot since the game launched.
