It’s not long until the release date of November 25, 2025, and in a flurry of pre-launch information, we’ve now seen the BMW M Hybrid V8 LMDh confirmed for Project Motor Racing.
Revealed in a teaser social media post, it joins the LMDH class which already includes the likes of the Aston Martin Valkyrie, Porsche 963 and Lamborghini SC63. You can check out our full list of cars confirmed, here. The BMW is a car that’s appeared in various other sim racing titles, with various degrees of success (e.g. iRacing, RaceRoom, LMU and Forza), so it’ll be interesting to see how this version compares.
Certainly the hypercar class is now well-represented in Project Motor Racing, alongside the more unusual and eclectic choices that make the title stand out more from other sims.

Other recent details shared include the fact there will be three spec series, which will put every competitor in one particular make and model of car. The trio will be the Mazda MX-5 Tophy, the Porsche 992 Trophy and the Porsche 964 Trophy. Personally, the 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera Cup (964) stands out as the most interesting to race in, although the 2017 MX-5 will probably be the easiest to drive, and the 911 GT3 Cup (992) will doubtless attract the most sim racers. Because GT3.
Also recently revealed are the 2004 Chevrolet Corvette C5.R, the Porsche 962C, and the Sebring International Raceway circuit.
Project Motor Racing will launch on November 25th, 2025 for the PC, PS5 and XBox Series X|S and pre-orders are open for the PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store or the official website, the PlayStation 5 via the PlayStation Store or the Xbox Series X|S via the Microsoft Store, or via Game and Amazon. As a reward, you’ll receive the bonus GTE Decade Pack.
