Along with the news that Motorsport Games has generated a profit for the second quarter in a row, their third quarter 2025 earnings call has also revealed that Le Mans Ultimate is coming to consoles.
After securing investment from technology firm Pimax, Motorsport Games has managed to record net income for both Q2 and Q3 of 2025, primarily from the sucess of Le Mans Ultimate. And following on from that, President and CEO Stephen Hood revealed that console versions are currently in development.
“With improving financial stability, we believe the Company now has the ability to forge a new path utilizing the unique technology we own and continue to advance. I’m delighted to announce a console port of Le Mans Ultimate is now in early production and the Company is looking forward bringing this unique experience to PlayStation and Xbox gaming consoles with a current estimated delivery between late 2026 and early 2027.”

The official title for the FIA World Endurance Championship and 24 Hours of Le Mans, Le Mans Ultimate launched onto Steam Early Access back in February 2024, with a full V1.0 release in July 2025. In September, the European Le Mans series content started to be added as DLC, with the first pack featuring Silverstone and the Ligier JS P325, and two further track and car combinations on the way.
It’s an interesting move considering that both Rennsport and Project Motor Racing are about to launch on both PC and consoles this month, and iRacing has recently launched NASCAR 25 and iRacing Arcade (which comes to consoles in 2026). With sim racing concentrated pretty much entirely on PC owners in the past, it seems that publishers and developers are looking more to consoles to attract a new audience, following the likes of titles like Assetto Corsa Competizione and older sims like Project CARS 2 and Race Pro.
