Originally released in 2023, The Crew Motorfest comes to Xbox Game Pass with eight seasons of additional content since launch, and a range of free and paid DLC.
Developed by Ubisoft Ivory Tower, it takes place around a festival on the islands of O’ahu and Maui in Hawaii, meaning inevitable comparions to the Forza Horizon series. You can take part in Playlist events, activities and challenges, along with multiplayer Grand Races and Demolition Royales, along with monthly themed Main Stage and Summit Contest challenges to earn a variety of rewards.

The third game in The Crew series, which recently topped 50 million players since it started in 2014, it requires an always online connection to play, but after the shutdown of The Crew in 2024, Ubisoft did announce it will get an offline mode.
To play The Crew Motorfest, you’ll need either Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass. And like the other Ubisoft and EA games on the PC version, no achievements are available for playing, which is always a bit irritating. Especially given the recent price changes to Game Pass.
But it’s hard to complain about another racing game coming to Game Pass, especially if you’ve already exhausted Forza Horizon 5, or just fancy a different take on the genre with more than 700 vehicles available to try out, including cars and planes. Along with a wider variety of events.
The Crew Motorfest is also available for the PC via the Ubisoft Store or Epic Games Store. Or for the Xbox Series X|S via the Microsoft Store, and the PS5 via the PlayStation Store.
