There’s not one, but two new premium content packs to add to your trucking simulator with the ETS 2 Nordic Horizons and Forest Machinery DLC released.
The Euro Truck Simulator 2 Nordic Horizons map expansion costs £14.99, which is the usual price for new areas, and covers Norway, the Norrland region of Sweden, and Laplan in Finland with 40 cities, 30 towns, and more than 200 depots with new cargos and industries including waste recycling and a large underground mine.
Along with recreations of Trondheim, Oulu, Sundsvall and more, and landmarks including the Sundsvall Bridge or the Dora complex in Trondheim, you can also experience the Northern Lights, or even spot some reindeer by the side of the road.

To celebrate the release of the new area, there’s a World of Trucks event for a limited time, which includes a custom truck paint job, a dashboard ornnament and a cabin plush for completing deliveries.
Alongside the Nordic Horizons expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2, there’s also a new Forest Machinery DLC to tie into the important of forestry across Scandinvia with a frest set of relevant equipment to transport including log stackers and harvesters, mulchers and wood chippers.

While it’s particularly suitable for jobs in Scandinavia, if you buy the Forest Machinery DLC, you’ll have access to those jobs through the map available to you, along with some covers for mirrors, lights and wipers to help protect your truck in rugged environments.
The Forest Machinery Pack costs £4.29, but if you buy the American Truck Simulator Forest Machinery at the same time as part of a Bundle, you get 50% off. Plus there are reductions of various DLC packs for Euro Truck Simulator 2 until December 11th, 2025, including the previous Sandinavia expansion with the southern parts of the region.
