DTM 2025 Car Pack Announced For RaceRoom

December 3, 2025 By Dan Thornton Leave a Comment

It’s a good time for fans of German touring cars with the DTM 2025 Car Pack announced for RaceRoom, with a release on Thursday December 4th, 2025, alongside the retro DTM 2002 cars.

Unfortunately, licensing agreements aren’t in place for Ford and Aston Martin at the moment, but KW Studios are apparently still working on a deal for the future. But in the meantime, you still get seven manufacturers out of the nine which competed under the GT3 regulations in place since 2020.

That means the cars available as a pack or to purchase individually will be the following:

  • Audi R8 LMS Evo II
  • BMW M4 GT3 Evo
  • Ferrari 296 GT3
  • Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo 2
  • McLaren 720S GT3 Evo
  • Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo
  • Porsche 911 GT3 R

As always, if you buy a car in RaceRoom, you can pick one of the available liveries, and the alternative options are available for a small additional fee. So it’s a good idea to choose carefully. But the good news is that the eight tracks used for the season are all available in RaceRoom with Oschersleben, Lausitzring, Zandvoort, Norisring, Nurburging, Sachsenring, Red Bull Ring and Hockenheimring (You’ll find the Lausitzring under the name Dekra Lausitzring).

As an increasingly old fan of sim racing and motorsport, I’ll be honest and say I’m much more interested in the release of the 2002 cars, along with more tweaks to the user interface and how easy it is to get on track in the sim. Having been around since 2013, it’s always been a decent option to drive, but suffered from looking a little outdated and being a pain to set up with some wheels and pedals, along with trying to adjust various settings.

But having seen a decent resurgence in popularity, especially with the favourable coverage of the Super Touring cars and updates to ranked multiplayer, it seems like there’s a fair bit of momentum with RaceRoom at the moment, and adding more classic cars along with the latest, and always popular GT3 options, can only help to keep that going.

If you want similar content to other sim racing titles, it’s there. And if you enjoy driving something different like the classic touring cars on tracks which don’t appear in many other sims, like the Norisring street circuit, it’s also there.

You can download Raceroom Racing Experience on the PC for free via Steam. Some additional content is available via Steam, but everything can be purchased via the official game store.
