After arriving for the PC in May 2025 and the Xbox in November, now PlayStation owners will be able to try the open world street racing game when JDM: Japanese Drift Master launches for PS5 in February 2026.
It will be available on February 6th, priced at $34.99 and includes all the post-launch updates which have been released by developers Gaming Factory, which have added new events, cars and a photo mode. Also available will be the JDM: Made In USA DLC pack, which adds six fictional American muscle cars inspired by real cars.
The full car list includes a mix of vehicles officially licensed from manufacturers including Hyundai, Nissan, Honda and more, and those inspired by cars that couldn’t be secured for the game. And you’ll get to drive them by following the journey of young street racer Touma, with the story mode revealed through hand-drawn manga pages, with more than 250km of roads in the fictional prefecture of Gouma to explore.

The most recent update for the game added four varients of the Akina Phantom Hachi, which is an unlicensed model very similar to the Toyota AE86, and one version features black and white paint similar to that seen in the famous Initial D franchise. And the Akina Legend, which looks a lot like the 4th generation Toyota Supra. It also improved loading times and added a cross-platform leaderboard between PC and Xbox players, so presumably PS5 racers will also be added in the future.
You can find JDM: Japanese Drift Master and all DLC for the PC via Steam, the Epic Game Store, and GoG.com. You can also bookmark the Microsoft Store page here for the Xbox version when pre-orders open. Keep up with all the latest JDM: Japanese Drift Master news, updates, DLC and more, here.
