The official game of the American motorsport series gets a new circuit, as the latest NASCAR 25 update adds Portland International Raceway.
Part of a January patch from developers Monster Games, it’s worth noting the new circuit is only available in Quick Race and Online modes with the Xfinity and ARCA cars. But as part of a free update across all platforms, it’s a decent addition around a year after the track was added to iRacing in the 2025 Season 2 release.
Also coming across from iRacing is a complete refresh of the Sonoma Raceway circuit in California, which saw a recent ground-up rebuild in iRacing itself. It makes sense for iRacing to continue sharing improvements across the relevant games it publishes, including both the NASCAR and World of Outlaws series, spreading out the cost of circuit and car licenses, laser scanning etc.
Other key updates from the relatively short patch notes are that there’s a bump draft fix for multiplayer races, which is obviously a key strategy on oval racing. And there’s User Generated Content moderation, which allows you to block and report paint schemes that you don’t want to see, or think shouldn’t be available in the game.

- Added Portland to Quick Race and Online (Xfinity/ARCA)
