Sega has announced a new rally title, Sega Rally Online Arcade will be available on Xbox Live Arcade and the Playstation Network sometime in 2011.
It will feature 13 rally cars, the familiar Championship Battle and Time Attack, plus, to quote the press release: ‘a collection of new features, including the ability for gamers to race their friends online!’ The radical idea of racing over the internet will see 6-player online racing plus leaderboards, and the game will also have the obligatory achievements to collect.
And we’re willing to bet there’s a Lancia Delta and a Toyota Celica hidden somewhere in the car list…
