It’s not long until the console version of Assetto Corsa Competizione arrives on June 23rd, 2020. And having seen lots of enquiries for more information about the Xbox One and PS4 editions of the game, Kunos Simulazioni have compiled many of the Assetto Corsa Competizione console FAQs and answers.
A lot of the information will already be familiar to sim racing enthusiasts, such as the fact ACC is the official game of the GT World Challenge. But there is some extra info, including the fact that the pre-order bonus of the Intercontinental Challenge DLC will be available to PS4 owners for two weeks after release. This is to make up for the fact that PS4 pre-orders aren’t available.

The frame rate has been confirmed as 1080p and 30 FPS for the base PS4, and 900p and 30 FPS for the base Xbox One. Both the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X get quality improvements in 4K mode, and in 1080p for the PS4 Pro.
For the console edition, up to 20 players can compete in an online race. And at launch there will be no private lobbies available, so it’s either Public Multiplayer via Quick Join, or the Competition Servers. And there’s also no local multiplayer…
It’s also been confirmed that the launch set of special events in Assetto Corsa Competizione will run until September 2020 and then go monthly.
A total of 24 cars are available for the Assetto Corsa Competizione console editions, with 11 tracks. So you’ll get the same cars and circuits as the PC version (we’ve listed the same selection slightly different in our Assetto Corsa Competizione car list). And you can also see the full Assetto Corsa Competizione track list, here.
Once again, Kunos Simulazioni have confirmed that the new paid GT4 Pack DLC, with 10+ new cars, will arrive in the summer for the PC and autumn for consoles. And the British Pack, with 3 more UK circuits to complete the British GT Championship calendar, will arrive for all platforms in the winter.
You can grab a last minute pre-order for the Xbox One version to grab the Intercontinental GT Pack for free by going to Game or Amazon. Or via the Microsoft Store.
