Kunos Simulazioni continue to polish out some minor issues since their last major update to the GT World Challenge racing simulation, with Assetto Corsa Competizione Hotfix 1.6.5 released for the PC version now via Steam.
It’s hard to believe there was anything not covered in the previous four hotfixes, but the developers continue to rectify even the smallest issues and improvements as we come to the end of 2020.
As a result, Hotfix 1.6.5 is a pretty small update, with only three changes, but one of them is a pretty handy change for online multiplayer, as it disabled collisions if an opponent has an unstable internet connection. So you’re less likely to be taken out of a race because someone is having broadband issues.
As always, the Xbox One and PS4 console editions run on a different update schedule, so you’ll have to wait and see if the same improvements come to those versions in the future.
