Final DiRT Rally 2.0 Update 1.18 Released

It’s a little bittersweet to see the final DIRT Rally 2.0 Update 1.18 now released by Codemasters. The seventh DiRT title, and 13th if you include all Colin McRae rally titles, was published on February 26th, 2019. And since then we’ve seen the release of DIRT 5, suggestions that Codemasters will potentially split the series into arcade and sim titles, and the acquisition of the British developers by Electronic Arts.

Most of the final DiRT Rally 2.0 update 1.18 is devoted to new liveries for the DiRT Rally 2.0 World Series. It also includes a couple of fixes, and support for the Logitech TRUEFORCE hardware including the G923 wheels.

Hardware:

• Added support for Logitech TRUEFORCE™ hardware (ie: Logitech G HUB G923 racing wheels).
• Resolved multiple Logitech-related issues that arose from Version 1.17 update.

Cars: 

• Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 – Resolved issue where engine audio file reverted to older iteration (previously used in Version 1.15).

Miscellaneous:

• Updated Volkswagen logo in menu screens to match new real-world version.
