Dakar Desert Rally Officially Supported Sim Racing Wheels

The game features a variety of vehicles racing across the classes found in the real Dakar Rally event, so you can choose motorcycles, quads, cars, trucks or SSVs. So you may want to switch between a controller and wheel as you move from two wheels to four. But whatever you choose to ride or drive, developers Saber Porto have revealed which hardware will have official support, although you may find other products work to some extent.

Platform compatibility comes from the game developers, as the Thrustmaster TMX is listed as Xbox only, but will work fine with most sims and games on the PC. So possibly some platforms have been missed off by mistake, or there’s something game specific which might mean it won’t work at all, or missed out some functionality.
