It’s time to get back on your virtual motorcycle with RIDE 6 announced for release in February 2026. It’s being developed and published by Milestone once again, continuing the series which began in 2015, and follows on from the fifth instalment released in 2023.
As with the previous games, you’ll be able to ride a wide range of bikes, with 340+ promised – covering everything from sports bikes and tourers to the new addition of baggers and maxi enduro machines. Not all will be included in the standard game, so be prepared to invest in DLC if you want to access every bike.

You’ll be able to race on 45 tracks, with real and fictional circuits including dedicated off-road courses for the first time in the series. It’ll be interesting to see if you can potentially take litre sportsbikes around a motocross track for a laugh, as well as using off-road bikes as intended. Developers Milestone have also worked on the Monster Energy Supercross and MXGP games, so should have the experience to deliver a decent experience on dirt.
The content is tied together with a new career mode, named RIDE Fest. As a game often described as a two wheeled version of Forza or Gran Turismo, adopting the festival approach used in the past by the likes of Forza Horizon makes sense as you can choose your own path to unlock new events and rewards.

It also means you don’t get end up grinding out a load of endurance events one after the other, unless that’s what you actually enjoy. And part of the festival will be challenging 10 famous riders, including double MotoGP champion Casey Stoner, and TT racer turned TV personality Guy Martin.

The biggest challenge in creating a motorcycle game or sim is creating physics and controls which work for everyone from novice gamers to experienced motorcyclists. In addition to a refreshed Bridgestone Riding School, RIDE 6 will offer an Arcade experience for accessibility, and a Pro experience for ‘extreme realism’.
Using Unreal Engine 5, RIDE 6 also promises full cross-play multiplayer alongside the very welcome local split-screen option. And you’ll be able to use the Race Creator to build and share a custom championship alongside your customisable helmet, leathers and motorcycle.

The announcement trailer confirms some of the famous names you’ll be racing against, including Stoner, Skyler Howes (off-road), Nicola Canepa (endurance), and Tyler O’Hara (baggers). And also features a group shot revealed Peter Hickman (in his FHO leathers), James Toseland (in Ten Kate Honda leathers), Ian Hutchinson (Milenco Honda), and Thomas Chareyre, along with the aforementioned Guy Martin.
Plus if you pause at the right time, you can spot three-time WSB champion, and MotoGP race winner, Troy Bayliss kneeling alongside fellow Australian Stoner.
RIDE 6 is due to launch on 12th February 2026, with Early Access available from 9th February. And it will be available for the PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, the PlayStation 5 via the PlayStation Store, and the Xbox Seres X|S via the Microsoft Store.
The Standard Edition comes with 3 days early access and the Made in Japan Bikes Pack DLC if you pre-order bonus. The Deluxe Edition includes the Season Pass Vol.1, plus the Made in Japan and Made in Italy Bikes Packs and 3 days early access as pre-order bonuses.
