As fun as racing can be online, there’s still a place for humiliating someone sat next to you. And developers Milestone obviously agree, as the latest RIDE 6 update adds local split-screen racing.
The newest addition to the long-running motorcycle franchise was released in February 2026, and came with new features including a festival hub named RIDE Fest, boss chapters pitting you against some famous names from motorcycling, and off-road riding, along with an updated physics model accessible between Pro and Arcade riding modes.

I’m a big fan of split-screen modes being included in as many racing games as possible. My family will dabble with the occasional race session, so it’s nice to include them occasionally. Plus with a teenager that can now beat me in most other games, I can at least reassert some parental dominance when it comes to cars and motorcycles.
It’s also handy when my motorcycle buddies come round and fancy chilling out for a bit in front of the TV.
The rest of the update mostly fixes some graphical glitches and minor issues.
