A second selection of small tweaks and fixes arrive since the release of the new GT2 DLC, with Assetto Corsa Competizione Update V1.9.8 by Kunos Simulazioni.
Three issues get solved, the most notable probably being partial laps appearing on leaderboards as if they had been completed. Although there has also been a bug which led to car collisions becoming renabled before you’re clear of another vehicle when you’re leaving the pitlane.
The official title of the GT World Challenge series now includes the GT2 class, alongside GT3 and GT4 cars, along with the recent DLC addition of the Red Bull Ring to the tracks included in the racing sim. As always, updates roll out to the PC edition of the game first from Kunos Simulazioni, and come to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions at a later date via publishers 505 Games.
And the Norschleife is still on the way, having been pushed back to a Summer release due to both the 2024 Season content and Kunos Simulazioni also working on the upcoming release of Assetto Corsa 2, 10 years after the original was released.
